You might not think the wedding ceremony is the right place to include children, but I would like to convince you now!

In my opinion, Wedding Ceremonies are about gathering nearest and dearest from two sides of families and celebrating the union of these two individuals. The presence of young people is a personal choice and today I wanted to share 3 ways you can include them during the wedding ceremony.

Number 1: They or you can choose a favourite poem, paragraph from a favourite book or a song lyric. Having chosen something they like will make it much easier for them to read out loud and their passion for the text will translate in the room as well!

Number 2: For very young children, giving them the role to bring up the rings for the exchange of rings moment gives them a very important role and includes them in the ceremony!

Number 3: Sand ceremony is also very popular choice for young families as all children love sand!

These are just 3 suggestions on including young people in your wedding ceremony, but there are many more. If you would like to check out some suggestions for Poems see my Easy to Download PDF with 5 Poem suggestions.
